The 9th annual Ghost Ships Festival was a resounding success! We want to thank everyone who turned out this year. I'd also like to extend our most sincere thanks to those sponsors, exhibitors, speakers, and volunteers who helped to make the event one of the most successful and memorable events to date.
Join us in celebrating the 10th annual Ghost Ships Festival March 20 & 21, 2008 at The Wyndham Milwaukee Airport and Convention Center just across from the General Mitchell International Airport in Milwaukee.
Ghost Ships Festival is a conference devoted to Great Lakes Scuba Diving and Maritime History. Exhibits, workshops, and presentations cover just about every aspect of maritime history and Great Lakes scuba diving. You can listen to and interact with leading dive industry professionals, extreme explorers, maritime historians, and Great Lakes authors!
The Ghost Ships Festival will again be taking advantage of the convention center’s pool, by offering the public a chance to discover the thrill of scuba diving in a controlled environment. Utilizing the shallow section of the pool, qualified instructors from all over the Midwest will team together to offer an underwater diving experience that the participant won’t soon forget. Once completed, each participant of the program will receive a promotional package full of advertisements from each of our participating instructors & affiliated dive centers. The goal of this program is to provide the non-diving public a glimpse into the fascinating world of diving in hopes they will join our ranks and become certified as an open water divers.
The Experience is FREE and open to the public ages 10 and older in good health.
Date & Time - Saturday March 8 only, 11:00am-1:00pm
What You Need to Provide - Swimsuit, towel & completed liability form (on day of event)
Location - Wyndham convention Center pool (shallow end only)
