For only $50 you will get four hours of hands-on experience with the Upper Midwest’s most experienced rebreather divers on the area’s most popular closed circuit rebreather models.
The workshop begins 4/14/12 12:30 PM with classroom discussion on rebreather theory and operation, the differences between the different rebreather designs, and the advantages and disadvantages of rebreathers over open circuit scuba. Participants will then get to try out all the different units in the hotel pool.
The workshop fee covers rebreather use, gases, scrubber material and handouts. You will need to provide proof of Open Water scuba certification as well as a swimsuit, mask, fins and weight belt.
This is a great opportunity to compare the area’s most popular models as well as meet and ask questions of the area's top rebreather instructors.

Documentation and Survey Methods for Shipwreck Sites

Objective:
This workshop will provide a basic understanding of how an underwater site is surveyed, mapped and interpreted using manual methods. The class will cover survey objectives and the use of trilateration, offsets and sketches to
generate preliminary maps of underwater sites. The workshop will include hands-on practice, using the tools and techniques covered in the discussion, on a nearly life-size mockup of a Great Lakes schooner. A certificate of ttendance or participation is included.

TDI Edge/HOG Regulator Equipment Specialist

Learn how to repair the Industry's fastest growing regulator for Technical Divers from one of a couple Instructor Trainers in the country. This is a hands on class where you will learn how to repair your own Edge/Hog D1 regulator. You will learn the ins and outs of regulator repairs, you must bring your own Hog regulator, tools, service kits, and also own a copy of, bring, and read "Scuba Regulator Savvy" by Pete Wolfinger. Need to be minimum age of 18 and hold a Nitrox and Technical Diving Certification. A list of tools will be provided upon sign up that you will need for the class.
